Mark Mak, co-founder and CTO of Roborn, was invited to attend the “Hong Kong Laureate Forum”. As a guest speaker of the forum, Mark shared his entrepreneurial stories and experience in technological innovation and knowledge transfer.
Sponsored by the Lee Shau Kee Foundation, the first “Hong Kong Laureate Forum” organized by the Hong Kong Laureate Forum Committee was opened on November 13th. The Hon John KC Lee, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, delivered the opening speech. The forum was officially commenced on the 13th of November and end on the 18th of this month.
The forum brought together over 20 Shaw Prize laureates and approximately 200 young scientists from various fields such as astronomy life sciences and medicine, and mathematics, aiming to provide a platform for scientists around the world to engage in cross-generational, cross-cultural, and cross-disciplinary academic exchanges and sparking collaborations in scientific research.
On Nov 17th, the Hong Kong Laureate Forum was held in Cyberport where distinguished scientific experts gathered to explore and share the latest advancements in science and technology innovation. Mark Mak, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Roborn, was invited as a guest speaker to participate in discussions on the topic of “Knowledge Transfer: from R&D to Application.” Mark shared Roborn’s practical experience in transferring R&D knowledge into practical applications, providing valuable insights and suggestions for the operation and development of technology) startups.
